Best Sackpacks Reviews

I don’t know if you noticed, but nowadays, you can find a bag for anything. There are special bags for shoes, for suits, for dresses, for anything you can think of. That leads to an extremely high number of models of bags. It may be a piece of good news for manufacturers, who are trying their best to keep up with all the ideas.

However, there is a bag that is meant for anything. When I say anything, I mean casual stuff, like gym equipment (which has its own special bag, but not all people like it), or any other item that you need to be put in a bag when you get out of the house. It was very popular at some point but is still very useful. I have one. I bought it like 3 years ago because it was very light and I could put my rolling skates in it. I needed something to put my shoes in during roller blading, so that bag fit the requirements perfectly. If you still haven’t figured out what I am talking about, it’s a sackpack. It’s the most basic bag you can buy.

The benefits of a sackpack

Although it may look like a simple piece of cloth with a string on top, it is actually a pretty useful bag. It has many benefits, which is why it enjoyed a pretty extensive moment of glory. Here are the reasons you should own one.

  • It is extremely lightweight – I don’t even know if extremely will suffice. There is no other bag in the world that is more lightweight than a sackpack. It makes sense to weigh so little, since it is, basically, a piece of cloth with a string on top. That comes in handy. When you don’t feel like carrying something in your hands, you can simply take a sackpack. It feels very light on your back, which makes it very convenient to use in casual
  • It’s easy to store – I keep mine in a drawer. And not a big drawer, but one of those small desk drawers. If it put it together properly, it can fit in my hand, that’s how small it gets. You can fit ii in your sock drawer, in another bag, or in any other small space in your house. It’s the most foldable bag I have ever seen and owned. O once store it in a shoe I had put away for the season. It was hard finding it afterward, but you get the point.
  • It’s very easy to clean – you can throw it in the washing machine, just like any other piece of cloth. And drying takes like 30 minutes in the sun. At the most. I never tried putting in the dryer because the drying cycle lasts longer than the actual air drying of the sackpack. Usually, the material used for the manufacture of sackpacks is polyester, which everybody knows that dries very fast.
  • It never gets stained – polyester does not keep on stains. Ever. My bag is made of polyester, and I once forgot a pen in it. When I took the sackpack out, it had this huge navy blue stain on a side. I didn’t put in the washing machine because I was afraid to stain other clothes. Instead, I placed the bag under a running faucet with warm water. The stain was gone. I didn’t even have to let it soak. Needless to say, I didn’t put the sack in the washing machine afterward. It was already clean.
  • It’s versatile – I am not saying that you can take it at work, or to a business meeting, but you can take the sackpack virtually anywhere. It’s like a backpack, only more flexible and smaller. As long as the design is casual, you can take it at the gym, at the park, when you go shopping, anywhere else you want.

What to consider when buying a sackpack

Obviously, purchasing such a basic bag does not need careful thinking. There aren’t many criteria that a sackpack has to meet in order to qualify as high-quality. There are, however, a few aspects that need to be taken into consideration. Even if it’s a non-expensive bag, you don’t want it to wear and tear after a couple of uses, do you? So here is what you need to pay attention to.

  • The material – as I mentioned above, polyester is the best way to go. It is resilient, which will make tearing it pretty hard. Now, if you take a nail and puncture the material, clearly it will break, but in normal conditions, polyester should last a very long time. Also, polyester is very easy to maintain. Cleaning is easy and quick.
  • The strings – there are two aspects that I care about when it comes to strings. The first is the durability. Once it breaks, you can’t really fix it. You can tie a knot, but it will look awful, and if it breaks somewhere close to the top, you will have a hard time opening the bag. The second is the thickness. You either go for a double string or a really thick single string. I say that because it can hurt you. When you put something relatively heavy in the sackpack, thestring will exert pressure on your shoulders. The thinner the string, the more pain you will experience. Sackpacks don’t have shoulder pads, so the thickness of the strings is the only thing that can protect you.
  • Side pockets – some models don’t come with side pockets, but I strongly recommend a model that does. That is because when you leave home, you will also take with you small items, like your keys or your phone. Throwing them in the big compartment, along with all the other items, can make finding them difficult when you need them. Just imagine yourself looking for your ringing phone in the big pocket where you keep all kinds of other items. Chances are that you are going to miss that call.
  • Extra features – if you do a little research, you will notice that some sackpacks come with some additional features. Either the cord is adjustable, or the bag has a D-ring, stuff like that. I always go for more features, but that’s just me. You can buy the simplest sackpack you can find if you want to. It’s entirely up to you and your preferences.

What are the best sackpacks?

There are so many products out there that it gets confusing. Sure, you can apply the criteria above, but you can also read some reviews people wrote about the sackpacks they bought. I always rely my purchases on reviews. I know that it is not an expensive product and that it doesn’t have to meet too many standards, but if you pay 10 dollars for a sackpack, you’d better purchase the bestsackpack 10 dollars can provide. Here are a few suggestions.

Runetz Gym Sack Bag

The first thing that drew my attention was the design. It’s something about it that I like. You can choose from a variety of colors and patterns, but the colors are so lively and cheerful. Maybe that is why I like it so much. The title suggests that this sackpack is suitable for the gym, but I don’t see why you couldn’t use it in other circumstances. If it can hold gym equipment, it can hold something lighter as well. From where I stand, you can use the Runetzsackpack in all of your everyday activities.

The sackpack use a drawstring to close, but it is a double string, so it’s pretty thick. It won’t hurt your shoulders. That is if you don’t carry rocks in it. I am kidding, but the cord really is pretty comfortable. You will wear the sackpack with ease. At the top of the bag, inside, you will find a small pocket that can accommodate your phone and your keys. The pocket has a zipper so that all of your small items don’t accidentally land in the big compartment.

The Runetzsackpack is very comfortable and convenient to carry, it is spacious, and will withstand wear and tear like a champ. The material that is made of is polyester, but the minute you touch it, you can tell that it’s durable. It’s pretty thick for a sackpack, but that just ensures more durability. The bag measures 17.5 x 13.5 inches. Click here to read more reviews and buy on Amazon.

Adidas Burst Sackpack

For me, sometimes I just need to look at the brand, and I am already sold. Of course, that applies only to brands that I trust and never failed me before. If that happened, I would always second guess my choices. The point is that this sackpack is made by Adidas, which for me is enough. Adidas has a long history of manufacturing high-quality sports equipment, so I have no reasons to doubt it. But that’s just me.

You can find the Adidas Burst sackpack in a variety of colors and patterns. The colors are lively and fun, but what I love about this model is that it’s reversible. One side has the Adidas logo on it, and the other has the iconic three stripes that go diagonally all over the bag. The thing is that you can wear the sackpack either way. I think that’s a nice touch.

The material that it’s made of is 100% polyester. It is pretty thick and durable. However, that does not affect its flexibility. The cording straps are also made of polyester, and it is not likely they will break anytime soon. This bag also has a double string, so it will not hurt your shoulders, even if you put something heavy in it. The sackpack comes in a variety of sizes as well. The good thing about that is you can also buy it for kids if you want. Click here to read more reviews and buy on Amazon.

Under Armour Undeniable Sackpack

This bag is also made of polyester, but as I said, there is no other better material for such a bag. It has a beautiful design, but you can find multiple models and colors, for both women and men. However, some of the models are unisex so you can choose whichever you like best.

The Under Armoursackpack comes with a few extra features. For example, it has a side pocket for your valuables. You can put your phone, keys, or ID in there. The pocket is lined with soft tricot material, so your valuables will not suffer damage if you accidentally drop the bag. There is also a D-ring on the front panel foradditional attachment. You can hang your keys there (although I advise against it), or you can tie your shoes when you are rollerblading.

Unlike the other two models, this one has a single cord, which is adjustable. But the string is thick enough to prevent the weight of the bag hurting your shoulders. The sackpack also has front pockets for extra storage and organization, even if the bag itself is spacious enough. You will receive a custom Under Armour sternum clip that will keep the cords together on your chest. That ensures better stability.

My recommendation

It’s hard to choose from three high-quality sackpacks because they all follow the criteria I spoke of earlier. However, I will go with the Adidas Burst because I was never failed by this manufacturer. Everything I have ever owned and was made by Adidas lasted a very long time. I have no reason to believe that the sackpack is anything less. That is why I think that the Adidas model is one of the best sackpacks available for purchase. Conclusion

I don’t know about you, but I find a sackpack very useful at times. Actually, if you landed on this page, obviously you are looking for a high-quality sackpack. I strongly recommend one of the models I spoke of. They meet all the standards a sackpack should, and I believe you will be very happy with whichever one of them you choose.
